He prescribed laxatives and did nothing else for testing No pelvic exam, no scope, no barium enemas. Diagnosis : lazy bowel She obstructed. She had a massive pelvic tumor ....easily palpable He would not have picked this up because he says he knows older women don't like pelvic exams. She was brought to St. Albert hospital vomiting feces. He prescribed oral laxatives which made her even more nauseated. We fired him and had her transferred to Edmonton . Diagnosed complete obstruction and discharged to palliative care with a colostomy. He claimed he was a very good practician. My sister's mother in law died as a result of a gastric hernia so severe her whole stomach had entered her thoracic cavity. The attending dr. In emergency seemed horrified. Lefevre had been her primary care physician. And had not taken approprate measures for treatment. Both ladies were elderly . They did not deserve to die as a result of this kind of negligence.
